Privacy Policy

Synergistic Marketing LLC (“Synergistic”, “we” or “us”) is the owner and operator of the web site www.synergisticmarketing.com (the “Site”) and has developed this Privacy Policy to provide visitors with important information regarding the use and disclosure of information collected on the Site. Synergistic provides this Privacy Policy to help you make an informed decision about whether to visit the Site or provide any personal information on this Site.

This Privacy Policy is incorporated into and subject to the Synergistic Terms of Use. Each time that you access or use the Site, you agree to be bound by the Terms of Use and this Privacy Policy.  If you do not agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy, you must discontinue using the Site.

What personal information do we collect? We collect personal information from you when requested on the Site and other locations, including when you subscribe to our newsletter, enter contests and sweepstakes, respond to surveys and other promotional activities on or related to the Site.  Participation in these surveys, sweepstakes or other promotional programs is completely voluntary and you therefore have a choice whether or not to participate.

When subscribing to our newsletter or participating in surveys, sweepstakes or other promotional programs, as appropriate, you may be asked to provide your name, e-mail address, mailing address and other information. How do we protect your information? We implement a variety of security measures that are intended to protect and maintain the safety of your personal information. Do we use cookies? Yes. Do we disclose any information to outside parties? We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personally identifiable information to unaffiliated third parties without your consent. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our Site, such as sending e-mails, processing orders, order fulfillment, sweepstakes administration, or otherwise conducting our business. Similarlly, when we conduct a sweepstakes, contest, survey or other promotion that involves another party, such as a prize provider or co-sponsor, we may share any information you provide with us in connection with such activity with that other party.  We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our Site policies, or protect ours or others’ rights, property, or safety. Third party links. Occasionally, at our discretion, we may include or offer third party products or services or links to such third parties on our Site. These third party sites have separate and independent privacy policies. We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our site and welcome any feedback about these sites.

Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act.  We do not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from or other information that may be tied to anyone under 13 years of age. Our Site, products and services are all directed to and intended for people who are at least 13 years old or older.  Should we become aware of a child under the age of 13 providing personal information on our Site, we will promptly remove all such information associated with that account.

A note to international users. The Site is hosted in the United States. If you are accessing the Site from outside the United States, by providing your personal information to the Site, you are consenting to the collection and transfer of your information to the United States for processing and maintenance in accordance with this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use.  You are also consenting to the application of United States law in all matters concerning the Site.

If you unsubscribe from our newsletter, we may still retain certain information associated with your account for analytical purposes and recordkeeping integrity, as well as to prevent fraud, resolve disputes, enforce our Terms of Use or other policies, take actions we deem necessary due to technical and legal requirements and constraints related to the security, integrity and operation of our Site.  In addition, if certain information has already been provided to third parties as described in this Privacy Policy, the retention and use of that information will be subject to those third parties’ policies.

Choice and opt-out. You may remove your information from our database so as not to receive future promotional communications by emailing us or sending a letter to the address below.

If you prefer not to receive electronic promotional communications from us, you can also opt-out by following the unsubscribe instructions included in each communication.

Changes to the Privacy Policy. We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. The most recent version of the Privacy Policy will always be posted on the Site, with the “Effective Date” posted at the bottom of the page.  We may revise and update this Privacy Policy if our practices change, as technology changes, or as we add new services or change existing ones. If we make any material changes to our Privacy Policy or how we handle your personal information, we will note such change in the Effective Date of the Privacy Policy.  If we are going to use any personal information in a manner that is materially different from that stated in our Privacy Policy at the time we collected such information, depending on the nature of the change, we will notify you and give you a reasonable opportunity to either consent to or disagree with the change.   If you do not consent or agree, your personal information will be used as agreed to under the terms of the Privacy Policy in effect at the time we obtained that information.
